Growing up, I loved learning about presidents - not so much about their political achievements but more about their personal lives. My favorite books were those filled with useless presidential trivia.
(Did you know?...John Adams and Thomas Jefferson both died on the 50th anniversary of the 4th of July.) In fact, I had a childhood dream of becoming president one day. Thus, it's only natural that the first presidential inauguration I am witnessing firsthand will also be one of the most historic in U.S. history. I'm not interested in the politics, just hoping to see the start of a return to American basics.
